MS POLARLYS The vessel’s name means ‘Polar Lights’ in Norwegian, which is another word for the Northern Lights. Built in 1996, MS Polarlys had the honor of being christened by Queen Sonja of Norway. MS Polarlys was remodeled in 2016 to include MS Polarlys a modern, Arctic-inspired interior, and the cabins on deck 2 and 3 were upgraded in 2023.
